Hot Coffee.

I make my coffee in a drip coffee pot and I find it is not hot enough. It's not just my coffee pot that I find doesn't keep the coffee hot so it's not that mine isn't working good. I went to my mom's yesterday and I find her coffee isn't hot enough for me either. So after I brew a pot I pour myself a cup and put it into the microwave for a minute to get it hotter. Do you like your coffee extra hot or are you satisfied with the heat the pot keeps its?

For me it's not that the coffee doesn't brew hot enough. It's that it doesn't stay hot. So for me, I end up microwaving it too.I may buy one of those warmer cups.

My mom does stuff like that. She doesn't microwave her coffee though, she will put it on a pot on the stove to heat it up. My dad is in different to how hot his coffee his so he just reheats all the coffee that is brewed. She is crazy though. She reheats her coffee until it is boiling! I find that doing so changes the taste

The coffee maker usually makes it hot enough for me. I notice other people, including my mom, can drink scalding hot coffee. When I order coffee or tea, I usually have to let it cool for quite a while before I can even take a sip but I see others drink right away...so I guess everyone is different.

Mine is just right if I drink it immediately after brewing. If I let it sit in the cup for a few minutes though it gets cold and then to the microwave it goes. This happens often at work. I get busy and forget about my coffee...lol. I love my coffee steaming hot!

my husband is like this...nothing is ever hot enough...he is always forever microwaving things beyond the point they should be microwaved, lol...I can pull something straight out of the oven and it still may not be hot enough for him!! My grandpa was like this too...he judged how good food was by how hot it was!!

I just thought of an idea...maybe you could make coffee using a perculator on the stove...that way the water boils while it brews...

Yes, what you say is right. When you use the drip coffee or the filter coffee method, the decoction gets colder by the time it is ready. For that you'll have to microwave the coffee, I don't think there is another way, if you like it black. If you like adding milk to your coffee, then bring the milk to boiling point and add. By this way you get your boiling hot coffee. I like it with milk and so I get it done this way.
