Dog food.

I belong to quite a few survey sites and on one of them they offered me to do a survey on a new brand of dog food. So I entered it and they have sent me a 5 lbs. bag of dog food for free. I am to feed this dog food to my dog for 3 days and watch his bowels and eating habits and see if he is okay with eating it. Then I am to do a survey about the results and I get paid $10.00. Now I can't say what the dog food is called because they tell me I can't but what my question is would you feed your dog with it? Should I be taking the chance of upsetting my dog's stomach or should I just pretend I fed it to him and still answer the survey? The company that made the dog food is very repetable so I don't think the dog food would be harmful but can my dog get an upset stomach if it's something he isn't used to eating? What would you do?

Well, I guess I might see if he even likes it by giving him a taste. If he seems ok with it, then you could give it a try, if you have a dog that doesn't mind a change up once in awhile. Especially since you don't know the name of it and you won't have a way of getting after the sample until you know the name. I came home from the store the other day to find two boxes on my porch,, that UPS had delivered... 19 pounds each... cat litter. Free samples I had registered for on a survey site. My cat ain't picky, he'll use it. It looks to be a different texture than what we usually use, so I'l be curious to see how good it really is.

Oh my gosh how awesome. I wish I would get free samples of cat litter or free samples of almost anything. Theres just about nothing cooler then getting free samples in the mail. I just went out and bought a new type of cat litter to try with my cats. I love trying things new and if I found a product I liked from a sample I would definitly be interested in buying it after trying it. Samples are such a great way of introducing people to products that they might not otherwise purchase without trying it first. I am interested in learning more about this site that you belong to. If you could send me a private message and tell me about it I might be interested in signing up under you and you could earn money off my referral or whatever. I'll tell you my email to refer me if I want to sign up.

I only feed my dogs lamb and rice. I used to feed them Purina lamb and rice but, I found that Members Mark lamb and rice has the same ingredients and the same amounts of each ingredient. My chow lived to be 22 years old on lamb and rice. I don't think I would feed my dogs anything else, even if it was free.

would you eat poison if i told you it was good for you? companies that send you tose type of things have reseached and test the product. they would not send you anything that would harm your dog! i have done similar tests with my dogs and cat and even myself all are still alive and health!

If you're having second thought of feeding the new dog food to your dog then don't if you think that your dog is sensitive to new dog foods. There are some dogs who can eat almost anything like leftover meals so this kinds of dogs may tolerate the new dog food. Just be honest and don't tell a lie about the survey, because it will depend on you and how they will they improve their product and it would be for the sake of all dogs. You may also want to give them a call and ask them that if there's a guarantee that the dog food will not do any harm to your dog's health.

I really can't say what I'd do without knowing the brand of the dog food, but I'd take a really close look on the quality of the food and the ingredients and make the decision on whether or not to feed it based on that. I wouldn't feed any brand that you can find on the supermarkets, like pedigree, iams, science diet or similar junkfood brands, and also no food that has a lot of grains or other fillers with no real nutritional value in it. I'm really quite choosy with what I feed my dog.

I did this exact same survey. I did feed my dog the dog food however and found that it is a good dog food. I have now switched brands and very happy with my choice. To each their own though :) Good luck with your decision

If the company is a reputable one I wouldn't worry about the food being tainted, especially since you did the survey through a survey company. I doubt a manufacturer would leave such a paper trail if they were up to no good! As for feeding it to your dog, if you do mix any of your dog's current food into the diet during those 3 days, be sure you indicate that on the post use survery, as the company is trying to evalute your dog's performance on their food alone.

I really don't know what I'd do, to be honest. I get my cat's food online and I was so relieved when they had that awful pet food recall because I found out that the brand I'd been feeding my cats before finding this other brand was one that was involved in the recall. And it wasn't a cheap brand either! It's probably perfectly safe but I'm not sure. If your dog isn't prone to stomach problems it probably won't hurt him but I'd recommend feeding your pets a food that never has and never will have anything in it from China and is formulated by a vet. If you do decide to give your dog this dog food, make sure to mix in your other dog's food as well or it can give your dog an upset stomach and diarrhea. As for the survey, do whatever you think is best.

Wow that sounds really cool that you got a whole free bag and then get paid for it as well. Personally I would give it to my animals and do the survey because if you lie and say your dog tried it then you are ripping the company off and not helping them in any way. Being a member of the sites is all about honesty they trust you to provide honest feedback etc. Anyway I would be interested in more info on this site as I can always try to earn extra money and get free stuff. If you would like I could sign up under you so you can earn money for it or however that survey site works. Send me a private message and I will tell you my email address to refer me.
