i fisrt heard the "mixed tape" in summer of.....2005. i thought that song was sooooooo awesome but i never got the title or the name of the band. it was like looking for a long lost lover. i recieved the issue 234 of Alternative Press, read it, and found out that they were the band who played "the mixed tape"! i went to buy it a couple of weeks ago and was in awe!...it cost Php450! (Oh wait, that's not the reason!) buying the Php250 version, i fell in love by the way mcmahon captured summer in california as well as how personal it was. the spoken words in "I'm ready" to the sad goodbye in "bruised" (and that's just two tracks that are after each other). the album carries different paces in songs but its still connected by the brilliant piano and drums (Tommy Lee plays them! you know the guy from Motley Crue...no, not Nikki Six). the point is this album is awesome!fave tracks are "la la lie", "bruised" and "miss delaney".
