Advice on marketing my blog

I'm new to blogging, I just started one through GoDaddy. Could anyone help with tips on how to market it and how do I ad revenue site as I'd like to make some money at it. It is a selp-help blog.

Ultimately, it depends on what content your blog has to offer and whether it is good enough to attract people to read it, whether you update it regularly enough...etc
Or else, no matter what sort of marketing effort you put in, and no one is interested to visit your blog to read it, it won't help much...
