texting

here in the philippines, bill m akers are thinking of taxing a larger percentage on texting...whats your point of view on this matter?

IMO I don't see anything wrong with it, on the other hand might help us to make good use of our loads. Instead of them on other unproductive things, it's better to use that feature when it needs. All I just wish is, they won't charge that much or atleast make more exemptions for better purposes..

As if they'll be supervising each message that goes on through the network to assure us of our safety.. You only add tax to items or services 'cause they'll be checking them up and if they'll pass or qualify for the standards that the government looks for before letting the service, item or product be sold in this country. In fact, texting should be free in the first place. Its really weird that they could even figure out how to make money out of something like texting..
