How often do you buy a lottery ticket?

Do you buy a lottery ticket weekly, monthly, yearly or not at all. What system do you use? Do you pick own numbers, quick pick or do you buy a system? What is the most money you have won in lotto before?
I usually buy a lotto ticket once a week, love to dream big. However the most I have ever won on lotto is about $20. I usually get a quickpick. In the past I have bought a system of 8 numbers, but won nothing.

hi kiran it feels like i've known you for quite a while! i used to buya lottery ticket every weekand the most i ever won now and then was £10 am not sure how much thhat would be in dollars, once on a scratch card i won £25 but that is about all--now it is very rare for me to get one-only when i think about it apart from that not often--from littleowl

i do know of someone who won the lottery a few years ago but have spent it all!! it makes me wonder how on earth you can spend that amount of money in such a short time-if you do win a million you should be able to live on the interest alone for quite a long while or even invest it in say buying a house renting it out and getting the rent that way you are still sitting back doing nothing and still earning a good income as well as having a million to fall back on-from littleowl

Wow cannot believe they won the lotto and then blew it all. Like to said you should be able to live on the interest alone. Of course you would have a little splurge but then you should be wise and invest the rest. Thanks for your story, littleowl.

I usually play the power ball, but I review their we website to see what the lottery numbers were before I choose my numbers. I usually pick my own when I'm not in a hurry and buy 2 tickets each drawing ... so that would be 4 tickets a week since they draw on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I bought one on my 18th b-day of course but other then that I have only gotten a total of 7 scratch its scence November. and I haven't bought all of them cuz my mom bought me a few. I have won on a few of them but only one or two dollars, I don't like to buy to many of them cuz I may not win and be out money.

I live in and play the Virginia Lottery. When I was in high school I worked at a convienience store in a small Northwestern Virginia town. When I worked there I played alot, but now I have gone without purchasing a ticket in over 2 months. It is usually a loosing battle. Our little store did sell the jackpot ticket for the Virginia Lottery before it was called Lotto South. It was only up to about 5 mil.

I buy $20 worth of lottery tickets once a month. I been doing this for about 10 years. I buy them at the same store. I buy
only $1 tickets. In 1997 I won $5,000. I had to travel
to Lansing,Michigan to pick it up. It was a long trip, but getting that check was worth it. Since then I've won about $100. Give or take.

I play just about everyday. I usually spend around 10.00 s a day. I play pick 3, pick 4, cash 5, win for life, megamillions and more. The most I have won is $500 on pick 3..my birthdate 531. Another good pick 3 number to play is 427 or 201. Just thought I would share.

Hey tressa, thanks for sharing your story. I don't think we get those games here in Australia unfortunately. What country are you from? I like the sound of that game. 3 numbers would be alot easier to get then 6 numbers. We get gold lotto, powerball and oz lotto here. Congratulations on your $500 win. :))
