too many pairs of shoes equates being single!?

ok... this is some emo feel that has been going on since like god knows when...
my mother disciplined me last weekend. she complaint that I have too many pairs of shoes, hence this is the reason I do not have a boyfriend. does it mean that by throwing away my precious shoes, I will have a decent boyfriend? do I really need to do that? considering the fact that if I do throw away my shoes, I will have to buy new ones because I have nothing to wear! as well as wasting monies...
currently I would have like 30 to 40 pairs of shoes including slippers and boots...
am I a shoe/slipper freak?

Too many shoes means you're kicking too may boyfriends away LOL giving them the boot after a couple of dates and then rushing to get a new pair to show off around. Most women complain that their man do not notice new clothes or hair as they used to before dating.

interesting analogy you have there! lol! i guess my mum's point of view is that "you have too many shoes, hence too many boy friends to choose from and won't settle down."
but that's hardly the case, i am not even dating. so how can you blame my shoes?! shhhh! don't let my mum know that i am not even talking to single, available men in real time...hahaha!
all i do is hide behing my lappie, write blogs and discussions! hence my shoes aint the culprits! i love my shoes!
