Do you believe in Urban Legends?

mummified fairy - Mummified fairy, also called butterfly man, or moth man. Discovered in the Derbyshire countryside of England. 8 inches tall. xrays of the fairy confirm similar sketetal features of that of a child. The bones however were hallow, making them very light, and easier to fly. There was a belly button present, which led scientists and anthropologists to believe they reproduced the same as humans, but there were no reproductive organs.

ps just so you know, this photo was created as an April Fools' joke ;)

Some call them folklore, merely stories told and passed down by word of mouth. Others call them myths or rumours, misinformation. Are there any urban legends you believe in?Being from Newfoundland you may have heard of our belief about faeries, who come and steal you away...you may never come back again, or they might bring you back but there is something wrong with you, can't speak anymore, can't hear, misfigured...etc...Many wear odd socks everyday to protect themselves. There are certain areas you must never travel alone in at night... What about you? ARe there any urban legengs that may not be legends at all? Or what is your favorite urban legend!?
