Ric Flair Wrestlemania 24 possible opponents

Who do you think will be the person that will end Flair's career at WM24? I've been wondering about his for a good while now, and while I thought WWE was going to give us one last dream match, it seems the 2 names being thrown around on various websites are Mr. Kennedy and HBK Shawn Michaels. While i'm sure it would give Mr. Kennedy a nice rub to superstardom to claim the end of Flair's career, I have to wonder what it will give to Shawn Michaels's career? He is already an established superstar, one of the greatest ever, so the only answer that comes to mind is that he must have politicked to McMahon in order to have that spot.
Who do you think will be Flair's opponent?

I have read in many of the backstage websites that Shawn Michaels is really trying to sell himself for the match, although I think that Mr. Kennedy would be a better choice. I really enjoy Mr. Kennedy and I think that he needs the big bump into the next level that he's been waiting for, although he's missed his own chances through a combination fo bad luck and unfortunate timing. There was the Money in the Bank win that could not do it because of his injury, and then there was the "Mr. McMahon" child angle that was to be him before the Wellness suspension. This could finally be the event to get him in that upper echelon.
But I think that it's going to be Michaels. As it were, Mr. Kennedy and Flair will meet at No Way Out, and we know they don't want him to end his career there. Also, I don't see a long feud with these guys right now. Michaels will get to Triple H, who has considerable power and pull, and in the end he will get the match with Flair.

It's too bad they had to pull the trigger on Kennedy vs. Flair at No Way Out. I agree with you that Kennedy could really use the rub. Hopefully, they'll have the match end so Kennedy still ends up looking strong, even in defeat.

They all ready faced off at the Royal Rumble and plus they need to get that storyline with MVP and Matt Hardy to come to a close, which I could see at 'Mania if Matt is healthy and ready to go by then. I was thinking HBK for some reason as he seems to be the only candidate I could think of that he would face. Kennedy I don't think so and plus they're facing off at No Way Out.

I guess if someone is going to beat Ric flair why not have it be shawn michaels. I dont see any of them turning heel. I think it will be a face vs face match or have hbk turn heel for a month like he did with hogan. I also think after the match ric flair will give a fairwell speach and they will hug each other which will be a wrestlemania moment for sure.

I would love to see HBK vs Flair at Mania because i think it will steal the show like many of HBK's matches at mania plus the classics that flair has been involved in. i think it would be a good move for the wwe becuase you have two of the greatest wrestlers that have ever steped into the ring
