It's sad that teens today need to do things like this for attention. I think thats what it boils down too. If we paid more attention to our children, then they wouldnt need to harm themselves. Also this is what kids are exposed to now a days. If this wasnt shown on television, they would get theses crazy notions to attempt harming themselves.

im sorry but i think you are completely wrong i was a self mutilater and it is not for attention i promise you that it is a way of crying out for help when you are trapped in life trust me it ain't for attention

Sorry, did not mean to offend. I agree, I think there are some people who are crying out for help with the only tool they have. I also know that some kids use things like this to get attention from there parents, because that is the only way they can. When a child/teen is starved for attention/affection they come to the conclusion that negative attention is better than no attention at all.

self harm is a horrible thing i use to do it if teens could just see that they are people out their that can help them and that life does get better maybe they would reconsider
