Hey you Good Computer Wiz's out there, I'm new in the forum, We have had some serious Worms spreading around our region. Kaspersky 6.0 has been detecting the worm but even after deleting the infected files, it again detects the virus. I've been using "SMADaV" utility to clean the worm and I've noted some success. The "AUTORUN.INF" created in the root directory has been opening a file "SCVVHSOT.EXE" which i have been deleting manually it's registry entries. It has worked fine until yesterday where a RAID (Stripping) is installed, it didn't detect the virus. Any assistance?

You can try Nod32 which detects worms viruses very well. Some worms create a different startup entry in registry which autoruns when explorer process starts, you may have to delete that registry entry also.

Try to get a better antivirus program. The latest version of AVG is probably the best available at the moment, so I'd recommend getting that. If that fails and you still can't permanently remove the virus, I'd recommend doing a hard reformat and reinstalling your OS.
