Well I love the Harry Potter series; I have all seven books and the 5 movies so far. But I have to say that the last movie was lacking a bit or at least they left out too much and changed part of the story around that it made it diffrent from the book. It could of bit a little longer too. I really hope that they don't change the next movie too much; personally I think that they should have made a TV mini series with it, at least they could have fallowed the book more closely.

Oh I started taking notes of the things I hated about it in the first scene of the movie! They've left way too much out of the last 2 movies. And it seems what they didn't leave out they changed it in some way! Drives me CRAZY!! I would have been tickled pink if the last two movies they would have split them up into two just to be more accurate with the books. Though I know part of the reason (esp for Goblet) was because of them being underage and all. And they wanted to get them all filmed before they got to much older than the characters. It's crap though...I care more about the story line.

Not only are they misled but they're missing a great deal of information. I didn't start reading the books until after I seen the Azkaban in the theater. There was so much dialog that they left out of the movie - including who actually made the map! I couldn't believe it!

I thought there was a blip in the movie explaining who made the map...at least who the names were.

I agree with you 100%. I enjoy the books so much. I do know they can't do the movie paige by paige, But they should try and keep some of the main story plot there you would think. they twist things around so much that people that didn't read the books are misled.

well i also have read all 7 books and seen the five movies. but the way i see it after the first movie the standard of movie decreased compared to the book with the exception of the third movie. the reason may be that the size of book kept on increasing as compared to the movie where time remained nearly same. nobody can put the whole 600-700 pages into a movie.

They could have put in two movie. It's just more money for them if the movie are as good. NO?

I was disappointed like you coz there were a lot of good scenes from the book that were not shown in the movie. The 5th book is my favorite of all the 7 books but the 5th film turned out to be not my favorite of all the 5 films so far. I'm willing to watch a long movie like Gone with the Wind which ran for almost 300 minutes. I just wish they didnt cut a lot of scenes from the book. And i hope the 6th film will be better this time.

Yeah, the 5th movie was defeniatly my least favorite! I agree that it is lacking what all the other movies had, and they changed the story too much. I do love the parts with Hagrids half brother, I love when Hermoine yells at him-his face is so cute!! Okay anyways, yes I agree with you! lol

Yes.. Like wise I consider the 5th movie my least favorite.. I've read the book before I've watch the movie... I can say, its very short... I never felt the intense of excitement while viewing the film... compared to the vividly emphasized in the book: more action and adventure...

I do love Harry Potter very much, but I was not so enthusiastic with the movie. The effects was good -- rather catchy, and very much realistic. But the story is another matter. They changed it very much and its so much different from the book. I agree with you, it could've been a bit longer to get more closer to the book. It didn't even explore the Harry-Cho relationship and how they ended, didn't even show how Harry was feeling. I do wish they would not do that on the 6th book, especially on the Harry-Ginny relationship.

I don't think they'll will skip on Harry and Ginny relationship, Harry thinks about her a lot in the 7th book. I did read or hear somewhere that they want to make the last movie in 2 parts, I hope they do it going to be the easier way to get all the story in.

I was a little disappointed with the 5th movie, they seemed to be all over the place in the movie. Things were left out and changed.

I was disappointed because they left essential things out of the 5th movie that will be needed in later movies. Like the coins used for Dumbledore's Army to comminicate, pretty essentail peice not mention in the movie.

Anyway, for the last two books, I read that they were thinking about making it a 2 parts movie. Like for the 6th book they would have movie part 1 and part 2, as well as for the last one, to make sure the book is followed as much as possible.
