My sister is 10 years younger than me - so I got finished school, married and had kids before her. Since she is so much younger than me I watched her during summer breaks when my parents were working and helped with her Girl Scout troop. I really didn't truely appreciate her until she was in college. I am so glad for my sister, she really taught me how to share and not be so self centered - of course that was forced after her birth because I was an only child - lol! Now I value the time we have together and enjoy doing things with her - especially since we do not live close to each other. And she doesn't get so mad when someone calls her by my name, and I told her that all things come around, because I will sometimes accidently call my daughter by my sister's name.

My brother is 5 years older than me so I always was picked on. He never really did anything with me when I was younger. Then he got married and we became a little bit closer except for the fact that I absolutely hated his wife. Now that they have been married almost 9 years and I myself am married now, my brother and I have realized how dumb we were when we were little. No, we hardly ever talk now and we live 830 miles away from each other, I know that he will always be there for me if I needed him to be and I will be there in return.
