coffee and your skin

I read that coffee - or the caffeine - is actually good for the skin. However, since it is also dehydrating, one must follow it with lots of water. I have always been a coffee drinker, and it is kind of encouraging to read something like this. Do you have knowledge of other information that supports - or refutes - this? Many coffeeholics our there must be toasting with their coffee cups!

I don't know about the drinking coffee for better skin part, but I do know that caffeine is good for the skin. I use this product called fat girl slim and it's main ingredient is caffeine. You rub it in in circular motions for a few seconds. It works too. Makes cellulite appear less and tightens your skin. I really like fat girl slim even if the name is bad.

Thanks, this is very interesting information about first-hand experience. I do agree, that the name is bad; but whatever... it worked for you.

I have actually heard that before and I have actually heard something different about the same subject...I actually heard that drinking so much coffee will help your skin look alot clearer at times and alot more moisturizing(not sure if thats spelled right or not its been along day)and then I heard that too much soda which has alot of caffeine woudl make your skin blotchy and give you skin that looked like it was all dried out...so i guess you have to choose what to believe for yourself..I dont know either way!
