"When I die, I hope to go to Heaven, whatever the hell that is." -Ayn Rand. I'm rather agnostic most of the time. I'm just going to live my life and set standards for myself and make the most of it. I don't know if there is a heaven or a hell, but I'd rather go to heaven, which I think I would deserve for making the most out of my life.

Thank you for sharing what you believe. Have you ever wondered what the true belief should be? I mean this world exits because of absolutes, ie.. the sun will rise and set and rain must fall for things to grow, we are born and we must die... so I wonder isnt it possible that the afterlife is just as absolute? I began to question that after a conversation I had with my uncle who said he had no idea what to believe and I had no answer for him. What do you think?

I've considered that, but seeing as God is generally described as merciful, I think that if it is an absolute afterlife, I will be granted a little slack. It's unfortunate that we can't be certain about an afterlife, because if you can spend an eternity in hell, I'd really like to know how to avoid it.

I hear there is a book called 23 minutes in hell, maybe it would shed some light on the subject.

You can believe he forgives. Like I said above check out King David sometime, he did many things against God but he was repentant and God called him a man after his own heart. A lot of the psalms were written by David.

Well I dont know where I will spend eternity but I know I have been to second heaven and fight to keep ahold of it every day. I dont believe in the dying and going to a burning hell or golden heaven, I do believe in the resurection. No I dont believe in the once saved always saved, a couple of examples would be the parable of the servant who knocked on the door and the master said I knew you not, or Paul saying sometimes first works (repentance) must be done over or striving daily to overcome the sin that so easily besets us (forgeting to ask forgiveness and mercy, thats how he shows his great love)or striving to reach the fulness and stature of our lord and savior. If you need the direct quotes I can provide them but I am sure if you have any idea of the bible you probly already know.

i would like to think that my final destination is heaven. but it's hard to assume. the way i see it -- i'm surely gonna rot in hell. with the way i live and all. but i have strong faith in God. I just think that i'm too much of a sinner. i do try to do little act of kindness to people around me. simple things that would surely mean alot. but still i think it's not enough. surely -- i think i'm gonna be in hell.

All of us are sinners but if God allow me to live and save i would prepare to live here on earth than in heaven. Some verses in the Bible states that few only will go to heaven, large number will be living on earth.

I am not an extremist in religion. But I believe on my religion. Religion teaches the noble way of living. We should believe on what are sayings of our religion and we should obey the rule. Heaven and hell are two different places, opposite to each other. We should work positive to reach in the heaven and save our self to go to the hell. This all teaches the religion and religion is the name of truth.

Depending on which religion is right in the end, if there's a hell, I'm going there. If only for the fact that I didn't believe in it, I'm going there. I believe in reincarnation, and am Wiccan. Very few religions look kindly upon that. That, and I've done a lot of bad things in my life, and will probably do a lot more before I'm weak enough to let myself go. I believe in living in this life, not in the next. I also believe that everybody makes mistakes, and even if you've done bad things, you can still be a good person, just a little bit stained, is all. It's only the big things like rape and murder and robbery that makes the stain cover your entire soul. I don't mind a few splotches here and there, but I would never want to be completely tainted.

hi, I m sure that I will spend eternity in Heaven,'coz JESUS has forgiven all my sins and I know that I know that I am born again (Thank God for it)... I believe that once saved is not always saved....'coz getting saved is not a one day or overnight experience.... When we ask God to forgive us he does... But we are humans afterall and we sin against God even without our knowledge... If you read the book of JOB he used to pray to god everyday for forgiveness... that is salvation.... Its an everyday process.... we need to renew it everyday.... and we can do so with the help of Holy Spirit who lives with us and in us...'coz it is he who convicts us of our sins in the first place to ask for forgiveness from God to be saved..
