Your favorite ice cream topping and why?

Mine are chocolate chips and marshmallows. I also love the brownie fudge bits that one fastfood store here in the Philippines put on their dessert. I think the toppings pretty much says something about myself. I love putting Hershey's chocolate syrup on top of my vanilla ice cream simply because it's yummy. I just can't resist chocolate!
How about you, what are your favorite ice cream toppings?

Oh yeah, hot fudge is the best topping. I do like macadamia nut topping too.

I like ice-cream but I don't eat them on frequent basis. I have a sweet tooth so vanilla ice-cream with macadamia and hot fudge toppings just 'sweetens' my day.

Good! Now we're even with our loved flavor! What brand of ice cream do you usually eat then?
Vanilla is just classic so probably that's the reason I love eating it because it blends well with other flavors!

I like macadamia nuts too! Perfect complement for a hot fudge syrup! I like your taste in toppings, do you usually eat ice cream on frequent basis?

hi again.. i have been here in mylot since 11 months ago... however i have stop using mylot for 8 months since our internet access have also been stopped due to cut down of expenses...
however i got my job as a freelance writer... which means internet is a must... now i'm the one who's paying the internet bills due to my salary.. i'm accessing now in mylot in a daily basis especially if i am not that busy....

Wow, so you work as a freelancer? Would you recommend that to me as I am looking for a part-time job here. I am an associate editor of our school paper this school year and have been flexible with writing since fourth grade. Anyway, just send me a private message if you could, I'd be very glad.
Anyway, talking about the ice cream, do you like sprinkles on your dessert? I admit I'm a fan of ice cream toppings because it livens up my dessert but with sprinkles, I am really not sure because of the neutral taste I get from it. Lol.

Wow, a Filipino Mylotter like me! Hi there! Have you been posting for a long time too? Well, your choice of toppings are a bit common but yeah I must say you have great taste! I love chocolate chips and marshmallows with syrup and nuts! They go perfectly with the ice cream! Especially for vanilla!

I like every kind of ice cream. Ice cream is one of the best delicious eating, chewing and sucking stuff. There lot of verities available in the market. But we make Lahori Kulfa here in our country. Peshawari ice cream is also very famous in our place and sonnet chocolate ice cream is one of the best ice creams here. I like the last one most of all.

By its name, sonnet chocolate ice cream must be really delicious huh? I agree that ice cream is one of the most delicious food! I don't think I can ever survive summer without it. By the way, where do you live? So in case I come visit, I may partake in tasting the sonnet chocolate ice cream! Haha!

I am kind of a traditionalist and love hot chocolate/fudge and whipped cream - although I agree Baily's is quite good. You'll have to remember that when you are of age to drink.

I actually like my ice cream plain. But if I were to have a topping I would make it just plain fudge or butterscotch.
Maple syrup is actually really good for vanilla ice cream. I lived in Germany for awhile and one afternoon I walked downstairs and saw my host family putting the pancake syrup that I brought with me on their ice cream. I deceided to try it and it was really good.

Apart from those people who commented above, you were the only one I have read to like butterscotch! That's nice, but I can't recall the taste of that flavor. Haha! I have tasted maple syrup but that was for pancakes, I haven't tried it for ice cream. But thanks to your comment, I'll be sure to try that sometime!
Where do you usually eat your ice cream by the way? Mine's in a cup or mug for convenience.

Whoa! I haven't heard of gummy bears as toppings on ice cream and it's only now that I've learned that! I never tried putting them on because I thought the ice cream would taste funny then! Hahaha.
What kind of gummy bears you put there? Or aside from gummy bears, what other gummy candy do you like to top your ice cream? (I can't think of putting gummy worms on my sundae!!!)

I'd have to agree with you - McDonald's Mcflurry is one of my favorites! The creamy taste of vanilla is just soothing and savory to the tongue. The oreo bits are fun to crunch on and it's just plain yummy even if you'll just look at it you'll get cravings for it. Lol.
