I know !! I have heard that we all dream every night and I did dream years ago, can"t remember how long its been. I do not remember my dreams at all. I am diagnosed with PTSD. I was on river patrol boats in Vietnam, was in alot of combat and got shot up. I do not like to think that it would affect me dreaming though. Sometimes I have kind of been stuck when waking up. I could sense that there is something thats not real but I am stuck here right before I wake up. I feel alot of fear at that time also. I do get awake and then its like Whew !!! I'm glad thats over. I did have nightmares, years ago but again, not for a long time. Anyone know anything about dreams.???

i think your normal.. there came a time when I can't remember my dreams also. but i learned that, sometimes, when you wake up in th middle of the night, you sort of have some memory of what you dreamt of. it would be great if you have a pen and paper and when at times that you wake up and you remember something. write it. in time, it may get the memory back. or do what i do, i write it in my cellphone. no need for light. much more convenient.

Hi again to you mbcousins.I dream just about every night, and have read psychologist suggest it is a very necessary function. We all according to them dream wether we remember it or not.Usually a dream that is very clear and stays with me I will give reflection, the outcome being I come to some understanding of an issue I have.As far as dream interpretation books,I must say I do stay clear of generalization.Dreams are a personal thing, thus only the person who had the dream can truly reflect on their circumstances and surrounding influences etc. In regards to the feeling of being stuck,do know of other people experiencing same.Sorry have not researched so cannot offer further input. Did have a little insight into dreams and their meanings some time ago, simply put, they are disjointed memories, this is in relation to those nonsensical dreams. Hope this is of some assistance. May I take this opportunity to thank you and your fellow Comrads for your great courage and sacrifices re:Vietnam. "Cheers"
