well there is no doubt that he is a very good player and that he has scored a lot of runs in every format of the game. but i think records are not always the final verdict. he has scored runs for india but lot of them are against teams with not many good bowlers. where as if you consider greats like Sir Don Bradman, he played against deadly bowlers. one of them always use to attack at his body and still he played him with so much protection as now a days players have. he scored runs at far more pace and quickly that what sachin did. he scored 2 triple hundreds. and there are lot more to speak of. so in this case i think it is not always records.
