I get those alot in my emial, plus ones from Africa telling me I have come in to millions LOL. I have a folder I put them in and when I can figure it out will send it to the fraud department. These are all scams. I usually respond to them byt telling them they are being reported. Maybe that will stop them if they think they are in trouble.

Its a hoax, don't give them any info, contact the bank it is associated with and report them. I had one actually delivered Fed Ex and the bank that I called had been after them for a bit. Ainge

Yes I received many times and I search the person or the kind of lottery and found out it's on the scam lists. If you notice most of the email address given were free email accounts. It's a 100% scam my friend. Run away from it!

I have receive a lot of times. There was one time, I did respond to their email. Give fake information and then send it to them. Then after a day, I receive again an email and it is said there to claim my prize I should pay an amount which is somewhat big too, but I can't remember anymore how much exactly it is. They said I need to pay those because they will use it to process my prize. From then, I found out, through it is just a scam. After that incident, whenever I received those kind of email, I have them spam.

I did it out of curiosity. I want to find out how true it is and whether is it just really a scam. Included in the information they asked are question about why do they pay when in fact I never join the lottery. They give explanation, but then it is not convincing. They asked money, that it makes really unbelievable. Thanks too for your appreciation.

I have actually heard of people getting something like this in the mail where they would not even sign up for anything or register for anything and then they would get an email a few days later that said that they had won a huge lotto...I have never actually recieved one myself because I always just thought that it was either a scam or it was spam...either of which I dont really like to much...I haven't heard of anyone claiming the money yet so you better watch out because it coudl be a scam!

It's a scam and there are 1000s of others like. For your own sake, please don't send any information to these people. They play on the fact that there are gullible pople out there who would actually believe they won a lottery that they hadn't even bought a ticket for! How likely is that now? Remember: if it sounds too good to be true, it always is!

They are collecting personal information plus money from the people who want to become rich with in a night. I also got such type of emails, but I did not respond them. Because I know that there is no lunch free on the earth. It is better to earn the money in return of hard work on line as well as in our physical life.

Spam spam spam. I hate it...How much you get depends on your mailadress. If it's very popular, e.g. you used in on public forums or blogs, then the possibility to get such mails is much higher. I have several mailadresses, personal ones for friends and business and such I use for forums and blogs. There I often get those "lottery mails" too, on the others not...

These type of emails are definitely scam . I never believed in them and did exactly the same what you did. These scammers are both scamming and spamming at the same time . Many people that are new to internet fall victim to such schemes and learn their lessons . You have also seen various banners on websites that say "You have won $$$" etc etc ... These are other forms of scams.Usually the webmaster of such a site is also involved in such activities.Just ignore such stuff and you will never have any problem.
