Wondering if anyone has ever heard of this series. I found 4 of the 5 books in a used book store, and loved them. Ended up special ordering the 5ht as well as a stand alone story that ties in. The books are quite interesting about a boy who was an orphan, and is raised to be a squire for a warrior dragon. The series is named after the main character, a warrior dragon named Brasil broketail, who gets his tail broken early on.
