Well, Shaq's age depends on his career. He can still run. He will be post treat in Phoenix Suns.

Shaq is going to have a difficult time gaining his goals, if its true that he is so injured. I have no doubt that he can improve himself at least to the point where he can function ok with the team this season. But beyond the present, I dont believe he will be able to sustain his playing abilities. After this seasons the suns will begin to understand how bad a trade this truly was. They will be paying him 20 mil a year, to be a mediocre center... if he is able to continue playing at all. If anything the brining in of shaq will at the very least liven up the franchise. It will increase sells and improve locker room moral. If there is one thing that Oneal still has in full force, is the ability to keep the humor at a high level.

Yah. he still averaging double figures during miami days so he can still pile up some points especially from the paint. The free throw woes is still there and does not change wherever he was traded to other teams.

Shaquille O'Neal's presence with the Phoenix Suns doesn't seem to be working out that well for the former best team in the Western Conference. They've fallen to 2-4 since the Big Cactus joined them, and it doesn't bode well for their playoff hopes. Had they maintained their top status in the Western Conference, they would have had a good chance of facing a Yao Ming-less Houston Rockets in a No. 1 vs. No. 8 seed match-up in the playoffs. Right now they're tied for fifth in the Western Conference with the Dallas Mavericks, and it's not a good place to be in the very competitive conference. If they stay in fifth place, who they'll be up against will be up in the air. They might run across the Mavericks, the Jazz, or the Hornets who aren't so far ahead of the struggling Suns, and all of them have the potential to beat Phoenix.
