Jack and Victor - who was on the video film, when?

I like Jack and his storylines! But did I miss something?
They say that the video of the night Gimen was murdered showed Jack leaveing the room, and he was blamed (arrested?) then they said that the film had been tampered with and they reconstructed it to show Victor leaving the room AFTER Jack did, so he was arrested. Now, since Victor pulled his strings and got the DA fired, they are going to Jack as being the one that tampered with the film to frame VIctor. If Jack did tamper with it, wouldn't he have have tampered with the parts that showed him, instead of tampering with the parts that showed Victor? I am tired of the whole storyline, it has dragged on for so long, but that came up yesterday and it didn't make sense. Anyone clue me in?

I was beginning to think maybe David did it. But they need to go a head and wrap up that story line. The only reason they're going back to Jack is because according to the soap book is because the guy playing Victor said he wasn't gonna play the part that he killed Ji Minn. I think its more believeable that Victor did it.

Didn't know that about the actor - I had heard he was "leaving for good" but that could mean alot of things, and I fiured they'd have him "dissapear" in the flight to see Hope. It was just to obvious that neither did it. Neither character can have that on "their record", it just wouldn't work. ANd no major character ever is the one that did a murder.
I have not even heard the case mentioned lately...they didn't reveal, but they have just left it hanging.. I still think Ji Men's family did it cause he sold house of Kim, and David will get arrested for it, but Niki will save him and discover the family did it. Boring!!!
