It depends. Right now I have a bunch of books I want to read but sometimes it really does take me awhile to read another book, especially if the last one is great.

I used to read books in my very past. Now I could not spare myself to read a book or some books. seeing movies, watching TV channel, going to duty, coming back home and completing the work at home does not allow me to start to read a book and finish it well in time. when ever I start a book to read I could not reach up to the end of the book. this is due to my busy schedule of work. you may say I became lazy in respect of reading the books. And this is happening not only with my self many people could not spare them self to read a book.

Yep...we are all basically like u....short on time and too busy. Thats why when I do find time to read...I really enjoy it. I used to just skip any chance of reading but then I realized that I was cheatin myself out of some "me" time that I actually deserve. Take the time to make time...u will find that u have missed it and that u do deserve it. I know its tough....especially when ur busy

LOL, um I guess I should say right away? I always have a book going. Finish one, pick up another. If I don't have anything new to read, and I can't afford to go new ones, then I find a book that I have not read for quite some time and read it again. :O) I'm a book junkie.

It actually depends on a few things. If I have enough reading time and if I have any new books I'm excited about reading. I go through phases where I don't read very much because I don't really have the time. Then when my kids decide to join a sports team at school, I find I have plenty of time to read while waiting in the car to pick them up. In this specific instance, I thought I had already packed and gotten rid of all the other books, but then I found one that I had somehow missed. At this time, I was obsessed with a book that I was already reading, but as I was getting close to the end, I started bringing the other book with me. I finished the other book the day before yesterday and then started on the new one maybe five minutes after. I love reading and if I have the time to do it, then I will continue reading as long as time permits.

The trick is to leave about 10 to 15 minutes earlier than you normally would and then that gives you an extra 10 - 15 minutes to get into it... after that you just have to hope that they are a little slower on those days :)

Usually, I only wait until I desire something to read. I've been known to skip directly from one book to another, and I've also waited a few days to truly savor the good book I just read. Once, I even flipped it right back to the beginning and re-read it immediately after finishing it. I really loved that manga, can you tell?

When I finish a book that is really good, I won't start another book immeditely. I would try to remember the whole story .Sometimes I would want to write by feelings down, that means I would try to write a book review for myself .=]

Sissy I normally have a stack of books waiting to be read at any given time. So one I finish one, I am off into another sometimes in the same day. However its been a bit because of time and responsibilities since the holidays and I have not even picked up one. I do have a few waiting on me however.

Well, how long does it take to open the next one? I will read until I run out of new material. Sometimes I will even reread the old stuff, until the new stuff gets here!!

I cant read a new book as soon as I finish the other one if the characters arent the same and the story a continuation or series....I keep thinking back to the book I just finished...lol...I know that sounds crazy but thats the way it is. Now,if I am reading a series....then Im all for gettin started on the next book.

well, it all depends. i was reading this book and it was great, then i realized it was some others that went along with it. so i went and got them. with those, i waited about a day in between so i wouldn't tire myself out. when i buy books i usually buy at least 3 at a time. and when i read ones that dont have any that go with it. i usually wait a week or so.

This depends. If I'm reading a book for my course (I'm studying english literature) then I often have to start reading the next weeks book straight after. If I'm reading for pleasure, then it depends on how much I want to read the next book and when I finished the last one. Usualy, I wait untill the next day before starting a new book.

I don't wait, I just start with a new one if there's time.

No time at all, I dive right into the next one. I always have books to read in my flat.
