I've had rats for years.

If you've been on the Yahoo! Rat List or such you might remember me. I was owned by the infamous Snuffles R. Hain, who left for the Rainbow Bridge over 4 years ago now. I still miss him. I've had several rats since, but none as intelligent or curious about the world as Snuffles was. Currently I am the human slave of Skittles and Brody. They are sweet rats, and Skittles is especially friendly. Brody doesn't do anything until Skittles tells him it's OK. It's kind of sad. Brody came to us straight from his mother right at weaning age, and that was a mistake. It seems that leaving mom and being on your own with your litter mates is a rather important developemental stage. Having missed that, Brody is lacking in courage. Have any of you let your rats see the movie Rattaouile? I swear to you that after seeing that movie, which I didn't think he was actually paying that much attention to, Skittles started pulling on my hair at the top of my head whenever I would bend over and he could reach it. He had never done that before - honest! he must be awfully confused to see that it doesn't work.
