Why do our leaders put up with the slaughter of whales?

How many myLot members are as concerned as I am about the slaughter of our beautiful whales by the Japanese? These wonderful gentle creatures don't deserve to die painfully on the end of a Japanese harpoon. So how can we persuade them to stop? Okay, the best way we can hurt them financially is not to buy any products made in Japan. It only takes word of mouth to spread this amongst our friends and neighbours and here on myLot. Has anyone heard a whale cry? It sounds just like a little human baby. Let's do it !!!

yeah.. i don't know why they keep on slaughtering whales.. maybe they don't have any other source of income.. but i wish the demand would stop.. maybe that's the only way to end that cruelty.. it should be addressed in the international political and economic arena so that everyone would be aware of the dangers it would cause to our ecosystem. nd not just for whales, to other animals too and ecosystems.
