What are the most Common Names for Pet Dogs.

I have given a lot of thought and then came up with this point.. I think the most common names for pet dogs are - for Male Dog it is - MAx, Charlie, Brown, Jack, Oscar, Ben ( In India - It is Moti, Sheru, Tiger, Tommy) . Female Dog - Molly, Rosie, Puppy, Lucy, Meg, Daisy ( In India - Lucy, Tuffy) I had Two German Shephards One male and another Female and they were named Duke and Sonal respectively. Please give inputs if you have some.

That is very interesting to learn it. Here I think the common pet names are Lucky and Wang Wang. Wang Wang is a Chinese spoken words. It is concerning about good luck and fortunate.

Wang - Wang.. that sounds sweet.. and if it brings you lick then whats better.. So tell me In China dont you name English names for your Dogs.. like Lucky ??

My dog is called Duo Duo. It doesn't have a very special meaning, Duo means more in Chinese. It just sounds nice. Besides, when my dad was a child, he had a dog called Duo Duo. So we decided this name.

Actually I know for a fact that you are right about one of these names. Max is actually the most popular name used for dogs, ever. When I was volunteering at an animal shelter we went to orientation and we took a little quiz. One of the questions was, "What is the most commmonly used names for dogs?" I was the only one there who got it right =P It was Max.
