can I be angry about this?

well, I live far away from my cousin but every year I go to her home to celebrate the spring festival.she is not a graduated student but I am in a university now.so she always say something to stand out that university is just soso.I know she feel unbalanced that I study better than her but I never look down up her,she is my cousin. just now she say something so bad that is really hurt my heart. can I be angry with her?
