MyLot or Yuwie?

Looks like Yuwie is becoming more and more popular, but at the same time many of those who has tried it say that it is scam where people hardly earn their cents. I also became a member of Yuwie a month ago, but quit it, just because it looked boring to me. MyLot is a better site to contribute to, with tons of helpful info...but enough with me. Just a simple question to you people - what do you prefer - MyLot or Yuwie?

Yuwie took long loading times for my connection and I prefer myLot. also, in myLot we can exchange more info and opinion and we can contribute each others more. I never joined Yuwie because of the loading times. myLot is better, I believe.

I also belong to both Mylot and Yuwie, both being almost the same thing both paying very little, but I look at it this way how much should we expect to be paid just for socializing on a website, I started out with nothing when I joined both and if I make a few cents in the process of joining these sites then it is more than I started with. I know I am not going to become rich, but with the economy the way it is every little bit helps even if it boils down to a few pennies here and there, those pennies add up eventually.

I prefer MyLot. When I first heard about Yuwie on here some months ago, I did go and check it out. The layout was strange and I lost interest in it quick. So quick in fact, I didn't even sign up. LOL

I signed up for Yuwie about 2 weeks ago, but not really for the money. I signed up as another way to promote my eBay store and other sites where I know I'll be paid for my efforts. I like MyLot better because there's a lot more useful info here, Yuwie is more like Myspace so I guess it really depends on what a person is looking for when it comes to preferences.

I did the same thing, signed up to promote my site, and was on there for about 20 minutes and never went back!

I find it very interesting that this discussion which is pretty much negative to Yuwie is still here, while a discussion I started in which I stated that I enjoy Yuwie, am willing to have patience with its growth, and my income from it, was deleted by MyLot with no reason why. I looked at the guidelines and can see no place where it was a problem, but obviously they did not agree. Too bad that these sites can't support each other. I knew nothing of MyLot until I joined Yuwie. I enjoy both.

I know this problem, some of my discussions were also deleted here, because all these paid sites will be competitors - sad but true. Honestly speaking, I would also be jealous if somebody was praising another paid site in my forum...just our human nature. :-) Thank you for the comment.

Yuwie isn't a get-rich-quick scheme but members treat it as a way to make a living... Which leads to rude and downright obnoxious behaviour on the part of some members. The site itself isn't interesting in any way, all the topics of conversation are focused on ways to earn money on Yuwie. Besides, if you are creative (artist, musician, etc) and want to promote your work, the rules make it tricky and difficult to do so. I am a member there but overall, I am not impressed with Yuwie and keep my activity there to a strict minimum, which lead to me being told-off by so-called "friends" who resented my lack of activity there.

Well, I was saying in previous comments that this is the problem at the moment: I once joined both MyLot an Yuwie, but for various reasons I have stayed active only with MyLot.

I am a member of both but as a comparison, I have no active referral in myLot but I am making about $10 a month compared to I have 1 active referral in Yuwie and I am making about on average $0.15 a month. So, from there, I am sure you can tell me which one is better. Cheers!

I joined to Yuwie in September last year. I gave it up one month later as my earning there is quite low. It's only about USD0.02 and I don't think it's worth for me to spend my time there. I like Mylot because it's very trustworthy and people are quite nice here.

I am not a fan to social networks. I tried Yuwie for four months but I have not made much from it, so I prefer to use MyLot.

I belong to both Yuwie and myLot.. I like them both.. Each has it's own perks, their ups and downs to them. I won't sit and diss one over the other. Truthfully I have more friends on Yuwie, so it is more interesting to me. The programs themselves are different with different aspects of them.

Thank you for starting this discussion. I have heard about Yuwie from off-line friends but had no real idea what it was about. From the responses here, I now have a better understanding of the differences. Given that I am not good in marketing, myLot is a better fit for me. Thanks again.
