My dog just finished rifling through my jacket pockets...again! While doing so she feasted on the usual things, paper, receipts, gum, and kleenex. But this time she got something extra...some Tums. Does anyone know if this will be harmful to her at all? I hope not.

I don't think that would hurt an animal, but I would call the vet just in case. There are many human medicines that are lethal to animals.

how many did she eat? If it was only a few, then she will be fine. If it was quite a bit more, then I would call the vet and ask.

I'm not sure if this can hurt your dog but I'm thinking probably not. It kinda made me laugh to read your post because I had a dog a few years ago that ate my birth control pills, a bottle of tylonal ( it had 10 pills in it ), she use to eat so much stuff. Back then it drove me crazy, now I find it kinda funny
