All my life, I have cooked for larger groups of people. I had 8 people in my family before I was married. After marriage, came kids so again I was cooking for several. Now that the kids are grown and married, I find that it is difficult to cook for just two people. I hate cooking for just two people. This is the cut down version of the original recipe that is posted here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1401738.aspx I have also posted many recipes to use with this mix. I hope those of you who are cooking for just one or two people can use this mix to help save money on your grocery bill. AllPurpose Convenience Mix for One or Two 4-1/2 cups flour 1-1/2 teaspoons salt 1 cup nonfat dry milk 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon canola oil 2 tablespoons baking powder Combine flour, dry milk, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir together. Mix in oil unitl the mixture is smooth. Store in airtight container. Refrigerate and use within a month or put into containers suitable for freezing and freeze.

Thanks for posting this in this smaller version. I was hoping to go back and find it. There are just two of us, and with our work schedule we do not eat together at home that often. I do like tasty things for my packed lunches, and hubby likes snacks, as he eats at work. If I remember correctly, this is more or less the same as Bisquik?
