Appropriate/ fun websites for a 1st grader

I need some suggestions for my 1st grader on fun websites for her to go to! Her little sister is getting quite good at using the computer by going to nickjr and PlayHouse Disney.com. But, big sister is falling behind in her computer skills. I guess I never considered putting the kids on the computer so young until my first grader started having computer class at school. Anyway, I am looking for suggestions that would be fun, get her to use the mouse and keyboard, and be something that is appropriate for her age. What do you suggest?

You can't go wrong with any of the PBS.org related sites that feature the characters from the shows. The same can be said for Nick Jr. If you want something educational then look for anything in the School Zone family or check homeschooling links for recommendations on a specific subject.

There is this site for kids.. http://treehousetv.com/ It's canadian i believe, but i think there is a lot to do for them in there.. It's based on the kids shows the tv network plays.

My daughter is in 1st grade also. Her favorite websites are noggin.com and webkinz.com (but you need to have a Webkinz account). There's alsoa Barbie webiste she likes. A really good learning webiste is www.starfall.com.

hey on the web if she iz a pokemon fan she MUST go 2 www.pokemoncrater.com that site iz amazin i lovd it az a kid. its got the normal pokemon stuf and rule. we cant c the fight bt it tells us how much damage iz done and all that. cant explain here bt that site iz amazing. i refer it 2 evry 1 hu asks and i think ur sis will enjoy it
