Just curious... Who here has heard of the above company or plays any of their games? If so, how do you like them?

I have played the following games of Artix entertainment:AQ, DF and MQ I beleive that all three games can be greatly improved such as graphics (specially AQ) and gameplay. dragonfable and mechquest's war event are tediously boring. Just continuing to kill random monsters does not enlighten an average 13 year old.

I personally liked the graphics. They fit perfectly with AQ's not-quite-serious theme, going along with the odd monsters, random puns inserted into the text, etc.

There is nothing wrong with the graphics of Artix's games, especially when compared to game such as Runescape, which tries to have good graphics, but fails miserably, where Artix just goes for simple cartoon graphics, and succeeds. The war events are special occasions, which you are supposed to do lots of waves in, you cannot get anywhere in life without persistence.

i use to play adventure quest but i quit because they kept saying that you can't play unless you become a gaurdian.

That is exactly the reason why you spend money (perhaps gained on mylot) to buy a guardianship, running a game such as AQ does not come cheap for the makers.

I play Adventurequest and Dragonfable, but I like Dragonfable better. I like the graphics on both games, and the fact that no one else depends on my character, like on other MMORPG's (ex. WOW or FFXI). I also like that they are free (limited content/levels) but if you want to be a guardian/have a dragon amulet (full content/levels) it is only a one time fee. It is really like having a console game that keeps changing! I haven't tried Mechquest, and I'm not that into the "big robot" type stuff, so I don't know if I ever will. I will just continue to play these two, happily, for a long time (all of my characters are relatively low-leveled, after all!).

yes you did and I like dragon fable better like you. it's kind of cool that you can walk around and get quest item after quest as a reward

I play Adventure Quest mostly. I have played Dragonfable, and it was OK, but I like AQ a lot more. I didn't like Mech Quest that much, as I'm not into that kind of thing. Also, I have played their new MMORPG, and I have to say it is pretty good, although still in Beta version and not nearly complete. I'm thinking of buying a Guardianship, and my MyLot earnings will probably go towards that.

I too like the artix games. I am curious about mech quest the new one they are bringing out. I am still trying to figure out if I want paid membership to dragon fable or adventure quest and even started my own thread about it but I did not receive many responses. Maybe we should start a fan club lol.

I play their games... I have tried all of them, but I like AdventureQuest and Dragonfable the most. AQ has a very interesting storyline now, there are a lot of things going on... What with the Devourer and The Network trying to destroy the universe.
