Is it true that if we want to grow up in the world, we want to become selfish?

If you want to spirutually ..You dont need to be too concerned about the vocabulary..Once you are into it ..you will understand that Language is just a means of expression and it cant express everything...So its difficult to say whether you need to be "selfish" or not.
If you want to satisfy your senses and ego...You need to be selfish..absolutely no doubt about it.
So you can decide and go ahead accordingly.All the best.
