Sure have mbcousins, over the years came to the conclusion sometimes when you try to save a drowning person all too often they will pull you down with them.Just listening can help, this too can have the above effect. There are times it is best to simply mind ones own business.Have trust and faith if they are to receive help they will. Cheers

Sometimes I find myself not knowing when to draw the line because I really want to see to it that what I want to do for the person is what the person actually want, but most of the time I get too worked out trying to do this.

what sticks in my head is the meals that were brought to me when i had my two daughters, plus a miscarriage and a hysterectomy. it is times like these when help is helpful and i would not hesitate to help others in that way (except i am not a very good cook!) but you get the idea

If I see someone who really needs help, I'll offer them my help but never force it on them. That, or I'll wati for someone to ask.

Yes! Sometimes I think people really need to learn to get through things on their own. I know many people that are pampered and have had everything handed to them their whole lives, and in my opionion, helping them is stunting their growth!
