Is this the weirdest thing you've heard? Apparently cow urine has some properties in it that can cure some diseases including cancer. But, they are going to do more research on the matter first. http://www.arcamax.com/weirdnews/s-299901-527517

Look at some of your body lotions here in the states. If urea is listed in the ingredients, guess what? Actually, I'm not sure if it's added now but it use to be one of the top ingredients in cosmetics.

You're right. Come to think of it, I remember years ago seeing placenta in some hair care products, and no one raised a ruckus.

Yikes! Nothing would surprise me. Back in the late 80's I worked for a medical lab here in Houston. We did the lab work for lots of doctors. One of them was a doctor who worked with cancer patients. At that time he was studying the use of the patient's urine as a cancer cure. He was even questioned by some local tv stations. Supposedly he was not joking and had really found some interesting data on it. Don't know if it ever cured anyone.

wow!! of course!! I have to read a book very interesting: "Cows, pigs, wars and witches" by Marvin Harris. In this book arise some questions which are unsolved mysteries in developed countries... One of those questions was sacred cows in India... And I thought that it was a simple belief.. but not! It´s a belief based on strong arguments... For example that one... In India cows are sacred, are not for eating... ´cause its population needs more things which are produced by cows!.. And it would be a mistake if people ate them... They use their URINE, skin, manure,... wow a lot of things I cannot remember now.. Anyway, I recommend you that book ... There are a lot of interesting things of cultural topics. Regards, buddy!^^

I would hope they will do more studies, wouldn't like drinking a whole pile of cow urine for no reason. There are so many strange cures about now that 'cure cancer' wouldn't you think that cancer wouldn't be around anymore, but I suppose we all live in hope.

I'm not surprised by this, but it makes me wonder how they came up with the idea to begin with.

Yeah well what do you think that the birth control pill is made from, horse urine. What I don't understand is why and who tries to figure these things out. Why would they take horse urine and make a birth control pill out of it? Why would anyone think to check if it would work? Now it's cow urine! Why would a scientist think to check if it has anything good and useful in it? I don't quite get it. I certainly wouldn't think to check it to see what's in it, would you? But then again, that's why I'm not a scientist. And if it works I am glad for them and maybe one day I will be glad for me, if I end up with cancer one day.
