is it wrong that my parrot calling me mama !!

today my friend came over and i sat with her in the salon .. my bird as usual start calling me .. and said mama come here.. i answered back mama be quaite and then my friend look at me in a strange way like im kinda out of space .. do you think that there's something wrong in my bird calling me mama ?

hi dear Hope u must be doing well well i dont think that there is any thing wrong if ur parrot call y "mama" so dont worry about it just take care that ur b/f dont start u calling mama rest everything is fine wink

looooool thanks for what you said cupid .. im not worring about her callig me mama cause i taught her that .. im just wondering what other people think of that .. i personaly think its cute .. my friend on the other hand found it weired ..

LOL its Ok i know either u tauht her to call u mama or she might have learn if ur kids call u mama but its OK just keep one thing in ur Mind its ur Pet and its for ur satiosfaction if other think its weired then let them do a lot of people thing that tattoo and piercing at differrnt parts other than ears is weired but still u can find lot of males/females with that So enjoy

Thats hilarious! No offence....I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. Its a little funny but not really strange. Lots of people are attached to their pets and they think of themselves as their mommy. I have an aunt and a friend who calls themselves their dogs' mommy. So to me its not strange but I have never heard a parrot call someone their mommy.

There's nothing wrong w/ that. I think it's cute. our pets are our kids, too. They're part of the family, and who takes care of them? Mama, does! lol. My pets know that i'm mom, even though they can't say it, verbally. They know that when they're hungry, thirst, want a treat, or just want some love, they come to me. That friend that looked at you strange....psch! they'll get over it. lol.
