Teenage Self Esteem!

February 13, 2008 5:41am CST
Kids always hear grownups saying that the teenage years were the "best years of their lives". But, if adults would stop to think for just a minute, they'd remember that the teenage years were actually uncertain, trying times. Being a teenager is tough. Self-esteem hangs on a thread and egos can be crushed with one sharp look or snide remark. And then, remarkably, a new day dawns and the kid emerges, completely unscathed, from the ashes. Such is the harrowing roller coaster of the teenage years. Helping your teen to develop positive self esteem today will allow him or her the opportunity to grow into self-confident and productive adult. Instill a 'can do' attitude in your teen, and you'll both be pleased with how far it will go.
