Crying can definitely be a good thing if it's done in moderation. Especially when your stressed out or just feeling down, a good cry can make you feel so much better. I know there have been many times where i have felt at the end of my rope and when i finally allowed myself to have a good cry, i felt 1000 times better than just keeping it all in. thanks for sharing and God bless

You bet it helps. Experience speaking! If for no other reason, it is something to do to occupy your time while you process the reason for the tears so you can work it out!

Yeah they say crying takes away stress, but sometimes I think crying just adds to the stress. In my case anyways. I am so sad that we moved 16 months ago and I want to move back to the city we used to live in and I am always crying about it. In this case, it is putting more stress on me because my husband gets mad at me for crying about it. He is happy here and doesn't want to move back and so he just doesn't understand why I am crying over it. He says what's done is done. He says I should just get over it and stop crying about it, but I can't help it. I am home sick.

What I have found is that if you can't change it, why cry over it? Granted easier said than done, especially in you case, and I have had things that were hard to deal with. I never got over them, will always remember them, but eventually found something else to concentrate on and they seem to get lost in the shuffle, until I bring them back up again or something jogs the memory. You can only do so much. Hope it gets better for you.

crying helps, it relieves you temporarily of your burdens.. crying for me helps unload the heavy feeling of my heart... :) but of course if you are crying too much and can't seem to stop it, that's entirely different and can be a sign of emotional instability. too much of everything is just aint right.

Yes,the surveys indicated that woman is live longer than man because woman always crying but man not!which can help reduce the feeling of distress, also take away stress. But after cring ,maybe bring no sense of release ande not feeling better.
