How do you get smells out of leather?

I have a leather coat that got left in the basement by mistake. Now it smells like,well....basement. How do you get the smell out of leather?

Wait for a windy day and hang it outside.

Kenniem, there is a product called leather lotion made by Kiwi, that has always worked well for me. Also you might want to try leather scent made by the same company.
