What qualification do you expect for the next Pres.? Cong. De Venecia reminds us of Singapore - Lee Kuan Yu. It is time that we do some cleansing and moral revolution in the whole system of Government. But remind you, when Cong. De Venecia was still Speaker of the House - he obtructed the truth about the impeachment trial of GMA. Can you trust Cong. De Venecia to lead this country? I admire the genius in our country. Yet no one is brave enough to say that He can run a honest and clean government. Vested interest will insist of perpetuating their greed. Do we need another Kennedy? Do we need another Bhutto? History repeats itself. Can we truly find peace and prosperity. Cong. De Venecia declares all seat in the Congress to be vacant. I beleive that to achieve truly cleansing in the Government - every position must be vacated and put people like Gov. Panlilio in the office. A man of prayer. A man who has fear of God. "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world (with his greed) and losses his soul (to Hell). Fear Him who has the power to put your soul in hell. The final judge is God - who holds the truth.

I think politics in the Philippines is getting worst. Despite the so-obvious corruption and the "buking" schemes that the people in the government do, not all Filipino want to go out and revolt to change the president. why? because at the moment, Filipinos think that from the list of those coming out from the media, there is really no person qualified for the job. The next president of the Philippines must be someone coming from the new generation, the youth. I believe Filipinos are tired of the traditional politicians. New ideas might help this country heal its age old sickness of corruption.

Thank you for your comment. Lozada said - it is an insult to the Filipino to say that no one can replace Pres. G. Arroyo. There are many good and intelligent Filipinos out there who is qualified for the position. Let us wish for the best. Cong. De Venecia is hoping for something like Singapore.

good luck to the Philippines. Unfortunately in our world today, most governments are corrupted, the only difference is the degree of the corruptness.
