I start this by saying hello to all. I have thought of being saved for some time now. Each time I think about doing it I back down. I have done many things that I have trouble forgiving myself for so I don't do it. I was wondering how many others have been saved and what change did it make to your life? Thank you for your help.

Hi! If you are serious about getting saved then don't worry about anything. God will change your life for you.You will then be one of his children. Have you been around saved people? Do you belong to a church? Talk to a pastor about this. The way the world is, you may want to think about doing this soon. It is the only way to get into heaven. God forgives all. We will all have to answer to the things we have done. Believe me none of us are perfect. I got saved when I was a teenager. My life has had some turns that I also am not proud of. Satan will be after you more when you don't want him in your life. Just pray about things. God will take care of you. I will pray for you to clear your mind abit.

Thank you for your advice on this. I have been around saved people. I do not belong to a church yet. I am looking for one though.

Don't let satan keep you from turning to Christ, He's there waiting for you to come to him and be one of his children. You should ask God's forgiveness for things that you have done, then forgive yourself. we all have did things that we aren't proud of and even some that we are a shame of, but that doesn't mean you're a bad person. Ask God to come into your heart and change you to the person that he want's you to be. Being saved is the best thing that can happen to anyone unsaved. I'm sure you wanted to be included in with the ones that's going to heaven.

You hit an important part of it right on. Forgiveness.. Very important. I cried my eyes out for months walking in the woods praying all day for quite a while. I chose the regular Lords Prayer out of Mathew, I think and I just kept repeating it all day long, dissecting every word and what it really meant. I became aware that he (or she) chooses when you are going to be granted all that awesome grace and rightousness. I complained for quite a while with "why me Lord, Why me" over and over until one day I heard that voice inside say "because I love you" God, that brought on the tears. Its a reconcilliation of our dualistic natures, good versus evil, and realizing everything, good and bad was created by the ONE. Only ONE God. It's a life changing awsome experience and it's impossible to explain. God bless you and I know that you are going to experience it because you want it more than life itself. Just to be in the presence of the light for 15 seconds. Boundless joy to you and everlasting PEACE. Another thing that was important to me similar to the forgiveness issue was realizing that Life is Eternal. I read that a couple of times and then I really began to FEEL what that meant. Life is eternal. We do not die. Godbless you.
