When I got my cell phone it gave this detailed list of the lengths of time that my cell phone battery would stay charged while in different modes. So far I have not found one of these times to be accurate. Does your cell phone battery live up to its promises?

Well even my battery doesnt seem to live up to its expectations. Initially I found my battery to be pretty weak indeed, but off late it's been giving better service. Even that though is not quite up to the mark. My battery is supposed to give 6 hours of talk time but I find that it only serves up 3 hours or so. That's quite some way off the projected target.

I have a Motorola phone, and my battery's standby time is lasts up to 4 days. But with normal use I charge it every 2 days. That's fine with me.

My cellphone battery will hold it's charge for three to four days, if I don't use it that often, two, if I use it A LOT. I am not a person who uses her cellphone for two much, it's just there incase I need it. I am constantly checking my charge, and I know how low it can go before it'll cut me off unexpectedly.

Mine is great. It usually lasts an average of 5 or 6 days before I fully lose the charge. I usually charge it in before that, about twice a week does my cell phone good. I shopped around a long time before I found the phone that I thought would have the best signal and stay charged the longest. It's a great phone. Motorola E815.

My phone's battery power for talk time is boasted to be 3 hours... It lasts... 30 minutes, tops. It's been like this virtually since I got the phone, but I don't like wasting money and have tolerated it, regardless, all this time. (Two years, the duration of the contract. I didn't want to replace the phone until I -had- to, which I'll have to do this August because it keeps freezing at random.) It's pretty disappointing, it only lasts a little less than 24 hours when it's on standby, which is also a disappointment. The model is discontinued, so I don't think that there's any harm in anyone getting the same phone, but if you're curious it's a Motorola V710.

no my battery has also not given the accurate backup time as per specified but it is so close since it is nokia. The nokia battery i think is the best for coming near by the given time and rest only do the management job of fooling the customers and making money. thanks for the nice topic to discuss on..... hopes that you like my response.
