Do you ever read of the works of William Shakespeare about Macbeth wanted so much to be king that he resorted to murder and he paid for it with his life. How awful of Macbeth. We all have our ambitions. We desire and force to achieve that all our ambition. but, we are like that tragic character(Macbeth) when we let our ambitions cloud our thinking and forget who is really in control of our lives. so, when we have to much ambition, what should we do? leave it, as a ambition or we must struggle to achieve it?

Have the ambitions in our life is a beautiful thing, otherwise we would not achieve the objectives... and would not be true even in the penalty of life. For Example get a good job, a beautiful family, or a magnificent house... but all there is a limit! Unfortunately want the power at any cost (Macbeth)is a bad ambition, to eliminate from our head, why make things bad!

I dont think too much ambition is wrong. However, too much ambition and you're hurting others, that's a different story. I have not read that book although i know some few things about it. I believe in pursuing ambitions. So when we got caught up by our ambition and we no longer see things clearly, i think the best thing we can do is to pause for a while, reflect and look back on our mistakes. Then as soon as we're okay, that's the time we continue to aim for our ambitions.
