The condition of loss making Public sector undertakings of India are improving day-by-day and the results is visible. According to latest PSU survey there were only 55-60 PSU lass making PSU in 06 as compared to 109 in 01. It appears that PSU are changing the shape and are ready to to discharge their important role in kaing nation. It also a reason that profits of PSUs are very low due to various reason one of the most important reason is political interference. PSU's are not accountable. The absence of regulation leads to misuse of authority by PSU executives which in turn incur loss.
