Leap Year - Who has a birthday on this day?

This year is a leap year, and I just wandered if anyone on here has a birthday on the 29th? Do you only celebrate your birthday when leap year comes around or do you celebrate it on a different day? If you do have a birthday on 29th what is your leap year age? Is it fun or is it just a pain only having a true birthday every few years?

this has been something i have always wondered myself, although i'd imagine it to be quite weird to tell people that you are 6 years old when really, you are already 24 years old. But i guess leap year birthdays make the celebrations all the more special!

Yes I think it would be great to have a birthday on this day, It would be like you were young forever, I would not have to knock a couple of years off my age everytime someone asked me how old I was!

Not me! lol But i have a friend who celebrates her birthday every 1st of March. Because she is a leap year baby. She is supposed to be 8 years old if you count her birthday every four years.

My grandfather on my fathers side. His birthday is Leap year.He has had quite a life. Been a POW during WWII. Has been an artist, and teacher. Traveled pretty extensively. Even has had an unfortunate heart attack. This year he made it! He will be the legal drinking age of 21! Hurray!! LOl not many of us can say we lost most of our hair before our 21 b-day.

I celebrate my Bday on the 29th. This year I turn into an 'old' fart of 11. My daughter & older son are older than me. My youngest and I are the same age this year and into next. When he turns 12 is when he officially has had more Bdays than me.
On the "off" years, I look at the 28th as my Bday. The last day of Feb is my birthday either way.
