I do.. maybe it doesnt really work (I dont really wake up when I use it sometimes) but I do scape from my nightmares. I use to stay in my nightmare as long as I can. Yes, I kinda like some nightmares until they become too tragic, or crazy or so... My method is closing my eyes inside my nightmare thinking I will wake up in my bed knowing it was all a bad dream and then I open my eyes and im in my bed (sometimes I really wake up and sometimes its just a dream of me waking up in my bed XD) Of course I use this method just when I know im in a nightmare..but most of the times I know :P

I hate it when you slowly start dreaming and you can feel it in your head, but then you don't want to dream so you start moving to keep awake and most of the time it doesn't work and it usually frustrates me that no matter what I try to do, even yell if I have to, I still lay there unconscious. Pretty wierd, lol. Anyone get me?

Yes, my dad has that problem. He says that in his nightmares he cant move and some is attacking him. And he says that almost all his nightamres are pretty the same thing. He kinda yells (in his nightmare hi is shouting out loud but in real life you just hear a little try of yell) and we have to wake him up. At first it was a little scaring but I got used to it. I jus tthink his nightamres are a little too simple XD mine are more elaborated :P

That's cool. Usually when I'm dreaming, I don't even realize that I'm dreaming.

I will try that what you say trickiwoo, but I think it may be a little difficult hehe I use to continue my nightmares because more than terrorific they are challenging.. so I continue them until Im not able to

like craziness, the first step to recovery is admitting that you are crazy. now, realizing that you are just dreaming will empower you against nightmares. what i do is convince myself first that this is a dream.. pinch yourself, do whatever you want to do to make your senses active. then, force yourself to wake up.. i know nightmares are frightening but not being able to wake up from it is scarier.. that saved me from a myriad terrifying nights..

Interesting technique! I have heard that a good thing to try to do is to take a nightmare and turn it around and make it a good dream. I've heard that if you're able to do this, it means that you have control over your life.
