Looking for a REAL answer about surveys...

Yes, I have had great success doing surveys. I have picked only legitimate worthwile sites. I look them up, dig up some info, and then decide to do them. I concentrate mainly on 3 or 4 survey sites, and that is it. It has been worth it to me, and I have to say none of them have I found through a referral. I found them through my own searches.

I am a member of 3 surveys sites and ONLY 1 (one) of them has send me money by paypal. The others i dont even reach the minimum. I think they do pay but as the minimum amount of payment is impracticable receive.

I have had success with 3 sites. So they do work. I get paid by check. One site has no minimum the other has a 5$ minimum and I usually surpass that within 2 surveys. The final one pays via gift card.

I have made quite a bit of money doing surveys. I do them for 5 or 6 different places. I have never spent a penny trying to make money. There are quite a few reputable companies out there that really do pay. I have been paid by paypal and checks in the mail.

I've also tried to make some money through survey websites. I signed up at about 5 of them. Everybody on the internet was talking about them like they really are a great tool to get some easy money. That you just answer some questions and they pay you for them. Well, I even managed to get some referrals for some of them. But after a few months I got really disappointed about all this. I didn't get a single survey. Really terrible. And I had done everything I was supposed to to get surveys. But ... nothing. Now I've given up and don't care about these survey websites anymore. Just a waste of time. But... it all depends ... I think that the reason why I didn't get any surveys is just that my country is not interesting for survey websites. I think that Americans definitely get lots of surveys. For them it's good. But not for people from my country.

Hi emmasmomma! I've earned money from doing surveys in the past and still do some from time to time now. The ones I've joined have all paid so far. Some give money, some give points to redeem for cash and other gifts. Some of the sites send me more surveys than others, but it doesn't mean that I qualify for it. As for what you might be doing wrong, you might just be signing up for sites that don't have that many surveys or that aren't looking for people that match your profile. Also, I checked out your myLot profile and saw that you're from Canada. Unless you're joining survey sites that are meant for people in Canada, it's unlikely that you'll get many surveys. I am exactly the same, I think I have signed up with about 10 or more sites in the past few weeks that offer payment for surveys. The first couple of weeks I got nothing, then when I did get a few I wasnt compatible so never get to finish the things. I think up to date I have earned 10p off one and £1.00 on another. It frustrates me because I always read about how great people do at them and how much money they earn and I get nothing. I did actually come to the conclusion that I must be jinxed and not destined to earn any extra money this year because I have tried absolutely everything!! So no I dont think you are doing anything wrong because I am in the same position.
