What's the most eccentric food that you have ever eaten? In that country?

I guess foods that were a little strange for me were escargot on a cruise, a pizza with octopus, squid, and fish on it when I was in Italy, and tripe (stomach) stew which my mom made when I was a kid.

Here in the US, are dill pickles and peanut butter (creamy) eccentric? I also like cheese (cheddar and cream cheese) with peanut butter. Im trying to think of the exotic foods I may have eaten... a raw oyster, and squid are about the only thing I can think of. And you didnt answer your own question... what's the most eccentric for you and where? B

I love eating "balot" duck's egg with a not fully developed duckling inside. It goes great with a little rock salt! I also love chicken feet, served in chinese restaurants. In Filipino dishes the dinuguan is also one of my favorite. It has pork blood and meat.
