If you are out in a public place do youre friends?

friends are friends ,i dont think all friends like same,means some have some good habit ,and some other if they are in our all gain and pain then they are true friend ,and it wiil remain forever.

Many a times it have happened and they say hello or hi or atleast give me a smile which definitely makes me feel special. And I too do this, to make them feel special.

Sometimes I say hi to people while passing them, but usually it tends to just be a "hi" "Hi" "how are you?" without an actual answer the question, so its quite pointless. But i think people do it so other people don't think they are being snobbed or something. I'd say that would be a main reason why people say hi in public places etc.
