I'm almost 25 and I still live with my parents. I am in a relationship and struggle with the fact that my parents still expect me to do everything like I did before my boyfriend with them. I spend a lot of my time with my boyfriend now, rather than my parents so I'm not home much. My boyfriend and I talk about getting married, but we want to make sure that we're going to have the money to support ourselves before we do it. It seems like my parents are jealous over my boyfriend and then my parents and my boyfriend clash. It puts a lot of tension on me as for what is right for me to do. I love my boyfriend, but I don't want to hurt my parents either. The way boyfriend and I got together I really feel was from God and when I've prayed about things it seems like he brings us closer together. I'm afraid of misreading signs though and I'm also torn between the fact of honoring your mother and father or doing what God wants for you.
